Ongoing Support
Project Surf Camp relies on donors, supporters, and volunteers to operate.  A minimum of 75% of our operational budget depends on gifts and donations from the community.  Any support we receive will be greatly appreciated.  There are two ways in which you can support Project Surf Camp. We accept monetary donations and encourage interested individuals to give their time by volunteering.

Monetary Donations
Project Surf Camp is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization.  Donations to support Project Surf Camp should be made payable to “Project Surf Camp” and mailed to:

Project Surf Camp now offers a new way to make a monetary donations with Pay Pal. A safe secure online payment center. Just click on the donate button and fill out the form. Fast, easy and secure.

Upon receiving your monetary donation, we will send in return mail a receipt with the tax identification number for your tax purposes. For this reason, it is extremely important that you include the address to which you wish your receipt to be sent.  Thank you for your support.  We cannot function without your charitable contribution.

 

Volunteering
You, individually or as a group, club, or business can be part of the volunteer staff of Project Surf Camp.  To help to make each camp a success, we need a minimum of ten volunteers per camp.  These volunteers will act as the one-to-one instructors.  Surfing experience is recommended but not required.  Wetsuits are available.

Supporter Recognition
Project Surf Camp wants to recognize the kind heart of you or your group, club, or business.  Donor classifications are categorized below.  The contribution category from you and/or your group, club, business, or corporation will be identified on our website.  Semiannually, a quarter page advertisement will be published in the Tribune (our local newspaper) identifying the donors and their category of donation.  Along with recognition on our website and in our local newspaper, Silver, Gold, and Platinum donors will receive a supporter plaque.  The donation categories are:

Platinum
$1300 or more
Gold
$900 to $1299
Silver
$500 to $899
Bronze
$1 to $499

If you, or your group, club, or business is interested in providing all ten or more volunteers, specific dates can be scheduled to accommodate your support exclusively.  In addition, recognition of your kind heart and interest in giving back to the community will be publicized as a “Silver” donator on our website.

Full Day Sponsorship
Your group, club, business or corporation may be interested in sponsoring one full day of Project Surf Camp.  A full day sponsorship includes $1500 donation and a minimum of ten volunteer staff members.  With this generous donation, a quarter page advertisement will be published in the Tribune (our local newspaper) exclusively recognizing your kind heart and your desire to support our community.
